It is with great sadness we announce that Charles “Chuck” Curtis Childers, Age 60 passed away at his home in Novinger MO on November 12, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two Brother In-Laws, Jamie Pflum and Paul Jay Fountain as well as his best friend dog, Zookie.

He was born September 27, 1964 to Curtis (Buckshot) and Joan (Booth) Childers in Kirksville, Missouri. Chuck is survived by two sisters, Pam Pflum of Gibbs MO and Tise Frazier of Kirksville MO, one Nephew Willie Pflum of Gibbs MO, four Nieces Brandy Pflum of Gibbs MO, Heather (Tyson) Halley of Novinger MO, Jasmine (Travis) Woolston of Kansas City MO and Jaydon (Travis) Heuer of Kirksville MO as well as ten Great Nephews and three Great Nieces.

Chuck was a graduate of Novinger High School with the Class of 1982. He spent most of his employment years as a truck driver for Kirksville Concrete, Collins Rentals and local farmers.

Chuck loved fast cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting and cruising in his car with the music booming. His favorite past time was spending time with his family and the many friends that were like family to him.

Chuck has been cremated and a graveside inurnment service will take place at a later date.
