Belva Marie (Mason) Osborn, 75, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the University Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Belva was born October 24, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of the late John Henry and Mable Marie (Rhoades) Mason. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Bruce Mason; and her grandparents, Edith Belva and Clarence Gordon Mason and Lee and Minnie Rhoades. On November 24, 1967 in Brashear, Missouri, Belva was united in marriage to Ronnie Osborn.
Belva is survived by her husband Ronnie of fifty-six years; one son, Micheal Osborn of Macon, MO; one daughter, Melissa Hines of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Kathryn Louise Hicks of Brashear, MO; and two grandchildren, Tyler Chase Houston Osborn and Trinity Ruth Marie Hines.
Belva was a graduate from Knox County High School with the Class of 1967. She worked along side of her husband Ronnie in the restaurant business for a number of years. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and will be remembered for being a wonderful cook. While in high school, Belva enjoyed singing in the school choir and also enjoyed singing in church choir's throughout the years.
Belva attended Church of God Holiness of Kirksville.
Public visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. service time Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
