Ronald “Ron” Lundberg, 71 of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away Friday October 18th, 2024, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri with his daughter Danielle by his side.
Ron was born in Hannibal Missouri to Robert and Norma (Williams) Lundberg on November 17th, 1952. Both preceding him in death. Robert (Bob) passed away June 19, 1999, and Norma passed away December 14, 2004.
He attended school in Edina, Missouri and graduated from Knox County High School in May of 1970.
After graduating high school Ron attended Northeast Missouri State College, now Truman State University, graduating in 1975 where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He then attended Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1975 and 1976 and went on to earn his certification with The American Medical Technologist group in 1976.
Ron or “Ronnie” as many people knew him, was raised in the Adair and Knox County area where he and his family were engaged in farming throughout his life. Ron’s dream to work in the medical field took a turn when his father became ill, and he decided to carry on the family farming business.
Ron was a very private man. He was a proud farmer who kept his equipment and farmland in top notch shape. He enjoyed cars, being and working outside, taking care of his parents and maintaining the family farm.
Ron was a loving father who was very proud of his daughter, Danielle Renee Lundberg of Manhattan New York, who survives him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 30th from 2-4pm at Travis-Noe Funeral Home.
