Frederick Allen Bailey II, 79, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his home.

Born June 20, 1944 in Macon, Missouri, Freddie was the son of the late Frederick Allen and Opal May (McElhinney) Bailey. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Bailey; five sisters, Mittie Ann Mosley, Jane Copp, Joyce Bergland, Janet Valentine, and one sister in infancy. On August 25, 1961 Freddie was united in marriage to Bonita Bradshaw and to this union three daughters were born.

Freddie is survived by his three daughters and a son-in-law, Julie and Dale Yearns of Queen City, MO, Mary Ann Bailey of Kirksville, MO, and Lori Frazier; his long time companion, Linda Rogers of Kirksville, MO; six grandchildren, Nicole Summers, Hannah Fugate, Grant Frazier, Kade Singleton, Ian Frazier, and Mallory Singleton; as well as five great-grandchildren, Ace Fugate, Kaitlyn Summers, Oliver Fugate, Meradith Summers, and Caroline Frazier.

Freddie was a graduate from Kirksville High School and a long time cattle trader.

He was a member of the Kirksville Moose Lodge, Kirksville Masonic Lodge, and a member of the El Kadir Shrine Club.

It was Freddie's wish to be cremated and a celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
