Robert (Bob) Lee Jacques, 90, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, surrounded by family.

Robert was born on June 23, 1932, in Novinger, Missouri to Alice Pauline (Robb) and Leo Robert Jacques. He attended Novinger High School and received a teaching degree in mathematics from Truman State University (formally Northeast Missouri State College). Robert was a sergeant in the army and served in the Korean War from 1952 to 1955. Robert was joined in marriage to Arlene Elizabeth Diekmann on August 12, 1956.

He is survived by his wife Arlene, identical twin brother William Leo Jacques, daughters Bobbie Ann Jacques, Lisa Jacques, sons Marty (Tammy) Jacques, and Jeff (Krista) Jacques, grandchildren, Stephnie Stonecipher, Michael Wriedt, Spencer Jacques, Jennifer See, Dakota Jacques, Montana Jacques, Kelsey Sparks, Sierra Jacques, Jarrett Jacques, as well as, eighteen great grandchildren. Robert is preceded in death by his parents.

Robert will be remembered for his love of his ‘beautiful wife’, family, fishing, as well as, his quick wit and sense of humor.

Robert was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where he also served as a deacon/elder for many years.

Public visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, 1008 W. Potter Ave., Kirksville, MO 63501.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1820 S Baltimore Street, Kirksville, MO 63501, with Pastor David Lukefahr officiating. Interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Dakota Jacques, Montana Jacques, Michael Wriedt, and Spencer Jacques.
