Martha (mom) had many loves throughout her life, and of utmost importance were her beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially looked forward to celebrating Christmas Eve with her family. If you had other plans they were changed, as Christmas Eve belonged to Mom. For Christmas, her home was carefully decorated, making it magical for her family. She fiercely loved each and every one of her grandchildren. Her home was filled with cooking and laughter during the holiday. Martha took pride in being a stay-at-home mother. Her children looked forward to coming home from school to chocolate cupcakes, donuts, and cookies! Home was a special and safe place, not only for her children, but for her grandchildren, as well. Martha was never a stranger. She loved making people laugh, and she had a special bond with her sister-in-law, Lois (Ginny) Rogers. Together, they could be a dangerously funny duo! Mom’s laughter and love will be greatly missed and treasured, always. We are forever thankful for the 81 years of life she had here on earth. Her generosity, cheerfulness, and funny stories touched so many, and will live on through her family and friends, for years to come.
