Larry William Hedgecock, 82, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Harry S. Truman Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The son of the late Purvis and Thelma Ann (Sprouse) Hedgecock, he was born August 2, 1940 in Udell, Iowa.

Larry was a graduate from Moulton Udell High School in Udell, Iowa. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia. Larry was honorably discharged after receiving the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. After returning home, Larry worked in sales for Merschman Seed Company in West Port, Iowa for a number of years.

Larry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Deb Hedgecock of Noblesville, IN, and Anthony and Donna Hedgecock of Dearing, GA; his step children, Tammy Sharp of Kirksville, MO, and Randy Walker of Kirksville, MO; as well as a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

It was Larry's wish to be cremated and a Memorial service will be held at a later date.
