Brian Scott Callahan, 58, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.
Born December 5, 1963 in Long Beach, California, Brian was the son of Ronald Gene and Treava Marie (Champlin) Callahan. In August of 2008, Brian was united in marriage to Penny Clay.
Brian is survived by his wife, Penny of the home; his mother Treava Snyder and husband Bruce of Lincoln, MO; two daughters, Rennie and Kelsey Callahan both of Oklahoma; one brother, Ronnie Callahan and wife Connie of Sedalia, MO; three sisters, Patricia Cornelius of OR, Terri Yelton and husband, Aaron of Kirksville, MO, and Linda Fields of S. Carolina; two step-daughters, Felecia Allmon of Kirksville, MO, and Laticia Heather-Cuevas and husband Christian of Kirksville, MO; two step-brothers, Gary Weekes of OH, and Ricky Weekes and wife, Georgetta of TN; one step-sister, Nikki Snyder of Utah; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a grandchild due soon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Gene Callahan and his step-brother, Shawn Snyder.
Brian was raised in and graduated from high school in California. He spent several years of his life in Oklahoma where he worked for a chemical company before relocating to Missouri in 2002 where worked in construction and was an electrician. He enjoyed motorcycles, camping, fishing, and was quite the jokester. Brian was always willing to help others and had a great love for his family, nieces, nephews, and his cat Midnight.
Brian was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Kirksville.
Brian has been cremated and a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Kirksville, with Pastor Larry Gibson officiating.
