Jean Yvonne (Warren) Overstreet, 79, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jean was born February 5, 1942 in Gifford, Missouri, the daughter of the late Eugene and Stella Louise (Myers) Warren. She was also preceded in death by her twin brother at birth. On September 12, 1998 in Kirksville, Missouri, Jean was united in marriage to Bobby Overstreet.

Jean is survived by her husband Bobby of the home, and two cousins, June Magers of LaPlata, MO, and Betty Forsee of Centralia, MO, as well as a second cousin, Irene Myers of Tucson, AZ.

Jean was a graduate from Elmer High School. She was employed many years for Plan Parenthood in Macon and later in Kirksville until retiring. Jean enjoyed sending birthday cards to friends, reading, board games, and traveling. Jean attended First Assembly of God Church of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with family receiving friends for one hour prior to service time. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jeff Arp and interment will follow at Elmer Cemetery in Elmer, Missouri.
