Inez Gertie (Harrell) Ray, 94 of Bevier, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.

Born January 10, 1925 in Buffalo, Missouri, Inez was the daughter of the late Ray Forest and Essie (Berry) Harrell. She was married to Hurbert Ray who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Lee Thomason; one granddaughter, Melanie Hood, one brother and one sister.

Inez is survived by one son, Ronald I. Thomason of Bevier, MO; one brother, Forest Harrell of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Blanch Applegate of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Inez worked in nursing for many years at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall, Missouri and at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, Missouri until retiring.

Inez loved quilting and was a loving caregiver for many.

It was Inez's wish to be cremated and a farewell party celebrating her life will be held 2:00 p.m. October 12, 2019 at the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Macon, Missouri.
