Amanda Gale Carvitto, 34, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at her home under the care of Hospice and her family and close friends by her side.

Born December 29, 1983 in Kirksville, Missouri, Amanda was the daughter of Ronald Dale and Susan Gale (Hubbard) Carvitto.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Susan Carvitto of Greentop, MO; her father and step mother, Ronald and Debbie Carvitto of Kirksville, MO; her grandmother, Lazana Hubbard of Jackson, MO; step grandmother, Janice VanGenderen of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Joshua Carvitto and special sister-in-law, Teaira of Greentop, MO, and Jeremy Crawford of Greentop, MO; one sister, Sarah Crawford of Greentop, MO; one step-brother, Tyler Campbell of Kirksville, MO; one step-sister, Lacy VanGenderen of Willis Point, TX; three nieces, Madisynn, Morgan, and Kreona; two nephews, Dakota and Keaton; several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her very special Chihuahua Rascal.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard Hubbard, Marjorie Hubbard, and Bill and Thelma Carvitto, and one uncle John Carvitto.

Amanda was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 2002. She was employed seventeen years at the North Pizza Hut in Kirksville and loved her job washing dishes. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, walking, riding her bike and talking on the phone, but most of all she loved spending time with family and friends as well as with Rascal.

Amanda was a life long member of Special Olympics, a member of the Greentop Volunteer Fire Department and member of the New Hope Methodist Reformed Church of Millard, MO.

Public visitation will be held Sunday, March 18, 2018 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Scott officiating. Interment will follow the service at New Harmony Cemetery, west of Greentop, MO.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Phelps, Bob Baker, Ryan Orr, Ron Gardner, Bobby Crawford, Larry Platz, John Burns, and David Crawford.
