Dakota Paul Davis, 26, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

The son of Todd and Peggy (Long) Davis, Dakota was born June 6, 1992 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Dakota is survived by his father Todd Davis and significant other, Nicole Zajac both of Kirksville, MO; his mother and step-father, Peggy and Jason White of Moberly, MO; his siblings, Samuel Davis of Kirksville, MO, Amanda Kuk and husband Steven of Ft. Erwin, CA, Corbin Alderton and Kendall Zajac and wife Andrea all of Quincy, IL, Gannon White of Moberly, MO, and Addison White of Moberly, MO; grandparents, Sam and Karen Davis of Kirksville, MO, Ray and Karen Long of Peoria, IL, and Norma Anspach of Kirksville, MO, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and one niece.

Dakota was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal Great Grandparents and Grandparents; one brother, Jackson Primm, two uncles, Mike and Jay Hutcheson, and one cousin, Angela Hutcheson.

Dakota was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 2009. After graduating, Dakota worked a number of years at the Kirksville Animal Shelter, at Smithfield Farms a short time and was last employed at Kraft Foods in Kirksville.

Dakota enjoyed fishing, golfing, and had a great love for all animals. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friend on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from noon to service time at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Todd Davis, Jason White, Gannon White, Samuel Davis, Steven Kuk, and Corbin Alderton.
