Sharon Marlene Matthews, 75, of Unionville, MO, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Born March 19, 1943, Sharon was the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Meyers) Matthews. She was also preceded in death by one brother, John Cloepfil; one granddaughter, Tammi Jo Snodgrass and one great-grandchild, Tyler Renee Snodgrass.

Sharon is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, Jim and Stacy Sells of Springfield, MO, Mark and Ginger Henry Sr. of Cameron, MO, Scott Collins of Unionville, MO, and Joe and Shauna Collins of Platte City, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tim Snodgrass of Drexel, MO; twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

Sharon resided most of her life in St. Joseph, Missouri, until moving to Unionville, MO, where she cooked five years at her grandson, Mark Henry's hunting lodge. Sharon was very devoted to her family and loved time spent with her grandchildren.

Sharon has been cremated and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO, with her grandson, Reverend Mark Henry Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Prough Cemetery, west of Kirksville, MO.
