Marjorie "Colleen" (Adkins) Hensley, 91, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Northeast Regional Medical Center with family at her side.

Colleen was born October 2, 1925 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Lucille and George Adkins.

She was united in marriage to Quinn Hensley in 1942 and to this marriage their son Terry Glen Hensley was born.

Colleen is survived by her son Terry of Kirksville, MO; her brothers, Bill Adkins and wife Kathy of Kirksville, MO, and Bud Adkins and wife Rhonda of Atlanta, MO, granddaughter Marcy Pence (Dennis) of Lexington, MO, grandsons Robert Joseph and Jason Michael Hensley, nieces Teresa Hale (Rick), Pat Gottman (Tim), and Susie Bush (Michael), and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Colleen loved spending time with family and was an avid antique collector. She retired from Hollister, Inc. She was a member of the Christian Church.

Colleen has been cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
