David Allen Lloyd, 57, of Martinstown, Missouri, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at University Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri.

David was born November 12, 1959 in Unionville, Missouri, the son of Elvin Dale and Virginia Louise (Lawrence) Lloyd. On June 19, 1981 at the Barker United Methodist Church, David was united in marriage to Donna May Mullinix who survives.

He is also survived by his mother of Greentop, MO; two sons, Jeremy Allen Lloyd and wife Ashley of Kirksville and Mark Allen Lloyd of Lamoni, IA; two brothers, Loren Lloyd and wife Karen of Martinstown and Leon Lloyd of Greentop; father-in-law and mother-in-law, DeWayne and Virginia (Hougland) Mullinix of Downing, MO; two brothers-in-law, Faron Mullinix and wife Lori of Lancaster, MO and Daron Mullinix and wife Dianna of Greentop; one sister-in-law, Dana Buster and husband Brad of Kirksville; two grandchildren, Olivia and Hayden; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father.

David graduated from Putnam County High School. He was a lifelong resident of Martinstown. David was employed by Bob's Foodmart, Putnam County Ambulance as an EMT, Gillum Ranch and at the time of his death as Chief Operator with PWSD No. 1 of Putnam County Rural Water.

David was extensively active in the Masons and a member of the Hartford Lodge #171 AF & AM; Putnam Chapter #123 Royal Arch Masons; Order of the High Priesthood; Bronze Medal recipient, General Grand Chapter RAM International; Kirksville Council #44, Cryptic Masons; Order of the Silver Trowel; Ely Commandry #22, Knights Templar; Order of the Past Commander's Association; Knight York Cross of Honor, Missouri Priory #17; Yeoman of York, Columbia Preceptory; and York Rite College, Columbia Preceptory #88.

David enjoyed camping, motorcycling, hunting, working in his garage, and loved riding around on his yard sport.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday (July 15, 2017) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Darrell Crooks presiding. Interment will immediately follow the services in the Lone Pine Cemetery north of Martinstown.

A public visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday (July 14, 2017) in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home with Masonic service held at 7:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Daron Mullinix, Faron Mullinix, Brad Buster, Taylor Mullinix, Bacardy Buster, Kevin Lloyd, Gus Richardson and Dennis Lee. Honorary Pallbearers will be Loren Lloyd, Leon Lloyd, Darren Crooks, Ed Neighbor , Ron Smith, Ryan Lawson, and Nathan Lawson.
