Betty June Conner, age 83, a resident of Novinger, Missouri, passed away at her residence on Monday, July 31, 2017. She was born on April 30, 1934 in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Ruben and Edna (Ferrell) Williams.

She worked at the glove factory, housekeeping, toastmaster and then Truman State University where she retired from. In 1951, she was united in marriage to Thomas Conner.

She is survived by long time companion, Curtis Childers; four sons, Tim Conner and friend, Edith Haffner; Chuck Conner and companion, Jim Schrock; Rex Conner and daughter-in-law, Kathy Conner; Clarence Conner and daughter-in-law, April Conner; one daughter, Pam-Sis Morehead; friend, Ruby Mattox; sister-in-law, Jeep Swanson; ten grandkids; fifteen great grandkids; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Frances Cornelius, Rosene Brookbanks, Bernice Johnson, Eva Ellsworth, and Margaret Williams; her brothers, Fred, Thomas, Leland, and Herman Williams.

She loved her family, watching country music shows and spending time watching the wildlife out in the country.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017, at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Dodson officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle, Missouri.

A public visitation will be held Friday, August 4, 2017, with family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Baird, Scottie Roan, Casey Morehead, Tommy Conner, Clinton Morehead, and Dennis Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Meredith Curry, Gina Conner, Misty Conner, Shawnda Conner, Brooke Conner, Lindsey Burkhardt, Elizabeth Harrison, Eldon Johnson, Gary Owens, and Shane Rowland.
