Laurette Nganga, 30, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly following an automobile accident on November 3, 2017 near Green Castle, Missouri.

Laurette was born January 8, 1987 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo the daughter of Nganga Mayunbu Floribert and Pascaline (Lubangamu). She was united in marriage to Junior Mputu on May 20, 2015 in Congo.

Laurette is survived by her parents, her husband, Junior Engebabue Mputu and daughter Hosana Joyce Mputu of Kirksville.

Laurette graduated from high school in Congo. While residing in Kirksville, Laurette was employed for Smithfield in Milan, Missouri.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, (December 3, 2017) with family receiving friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor James Kamanda will officiate the service and interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
