Fred Dale Long Sr., 70, of Macon, Missouri, passed away Friday (May 13, 2016) at his home.

The son of John and Mary (Lambert) Long, he was born June 22, 1945 in La Plata, Missouri. On October 28, 1967 Fred was united in marriage to Janet Louise Cook, who preceded in death on May 31, 2015.

Fred was also preceded in death by his parents.

Fred is survived by one son, Fredrick Dale Long Jr. of Belton, Missouri; three daughters, Chandra Grawe of Lentner, Missouri, Renata Licht of Canton, Missouri, and Belinda Gwinner of Macon, Missouri; one sister, Hazel Mills of Macon, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri, on Wednesday (May 18, 2016) at 3:00 p.m.
