Daryl L. Davis, the son of Clyde "Bud" Davis and Merta Davis Malloy he was born July 12, 1958 and on April 19, 2016 he went home to our Heavenly Father.

Daryl was a truck driver for most of his life, driving from coast to coast. He received several awards for his safety, and excellent log books.

Daryl attended Kirksville schools. Then went to work for the VanWye family at their family station. In 1983 he started driving a truck over the road. He married Lisha R. Allspach on June 27, 1992 in Kirksville, Missouri. Shortly after marriage they began driving as a team, over the road. In 2003 they moved to Kidder, Missouri.

Daryl was a fan of sports, especially Nascar. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brother Mike, son Jason, and life long friends Leroy and Rusty. Daryl was called to his eternal home, after loving life for 57 years.

He was preceded in death by his father Clyde Davis, brother Mike Davis, and his son Jason Davis.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Lisha Davis, mother Merta and husband Earl Malloy, grandson Nolan Davis, nephews Jeremy Davis and family, Tim Davis and family, and his road family.

Public visitation will be held Friday April 22, 2016 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 23, 2016 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will follow the service at Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Williams, Rusty Overstreet, Jeremy Davis, Tim Davis, Randy Allspach and Cameron Graham.
