Larry Joe Cuculich, 70, of Novinger, Missouri passed away Friday (November 18, 2016) at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Larry was born the son of Frank and Marie Lena (Anesi) Cuculich on June 11, 1946 in Kirksville, Missouri.
Larry is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Angie Sullivan of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Tessa and Nick Carson of O'Fallon, IL, and Jennifer Sullivan of Memphis, MO; his companion of twenty-six years, Janet Sullivan of Novinger, MO; one brother Frankie Cuculich and wife Lesa of Brashear, MO; two sisters, Tina Cuculich and Darell Athon of Kirksville, MO, and Kathy Stephenson and husband Bill of Kirksville, MO; eight grandchildren, Brody, Dolton, Colton, Bentley, Brooklynn, Ashtyn, Shad, and Nevaeh; one great-grandchild, Jamey Marie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jamie Cuculich.
Larry was a graduate from Novinger High School with the Class of 1965. During high school, Larry worked for Harry Fallini at the DX Station in Novinger. He then served in the National Guard and after returning home went to work for McGraw Edison Co. Larry later was employed for Florsheim Shoe Factory and during his employments also owned his own photography business. At the time of his death, Larry had been employed fourteen years for Auto Zone in Kirksville.
Larry loved drag racing in the past, enjoyed hunting and fishing, had a special interest in the Missouri Department of Conservation, and loved walking in the woods.
He was a member of NRA and of St. Rose Catholic Church of Novinger.
Public visitation will be held Monday (November 21, 2016) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (November 22, 2016) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Deacon Dave Ream and Pastor Virgil Jones presiding. Interment will follow the service at Novinger Cemetery in Novinger.
Pallbearers will be Frank Grgurich, Brody Cuculich, Dalton Cuculich, Colton Cuculich, Jeremy Sullivan, and Nick Carson. Honorary pallbearers will be David Sullivan, Vernon Salsberry, and co-workers of Auto Zone.
