David L. Huff, 57, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home.

He was born on March 23, 1958 the son of Arthur J. and Marcella B. (Walton) Huff.

David is survived by his mother, Marcella Huff of Kirksville, MO; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James A. and Janis Huff of Warrensburg, MO, Steven T. and Kathy Huff of Leesburg, VA, and Joseph M. and Marci Huff of Springfield, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and one nephew, William A. Huff.

David was a graduate from Brunswick High School in Brunswick, MO and from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in Kirksville. He was a realtor and contractor in Springfield, MO and the Kirksville area.

David was a devoted son, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and his beloved cat Cookie.

David was a member of the First Christian Church of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Jim Pitney officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

No visitation will be held.
