Ora Floyd Wallace, 73, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, (December 23, 2015) following an automobile accident.

The son of George Raymond and June Audrey (Bailey) Wallace, he was born November 7, 1942 in Novinger, Missouri. In 1962 in Novinger, Missouri, Ora was united in marriage to Bernice Josephine Martin.

Ora is survived by his wife, Bernice of fifty-three years; eight sons and four daughters-in-law, Joe (Denise) Wallace of Purdin, MO, John Wallace and significant other, Gretchen Haage of Queen City, MO, Jack (Armor) Wallace of Meridan, MS, James (Paula) Wallace of Novinger, MO, Jay Wallace of Kirksville, MO, Jesse (Becky) Wallace of Green Castle, MO, Jacob Wallace of Milan, MO, and Paul Wallace of Milan, MO; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon (Quinton) Sayre of Martinstown, MO, Linda (Greg) Compton of Milan, MO, and Shanda Wallace of Novinger, MO; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ivan Wallace and Max (Sally) Wallace; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Nola (Harold) Kuntz, Alta (Arvin) Davis, Ivy (Larry) Johns, and Neva (Bob) Powell; twenty-eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Ray, Rex, Ora William and Margarett, and two grandchildren.

Ora was born and raised in the Pure Air area and graduated from Novinger High School with the Class of 1960. He was employed for Con Agra (later Premier Foods until retiring in 2007.

Ora loved his family and grandchildren and enjoyed watching sports (especially his St. Louis Cardinals). He also enjoyed livestock and mowing at Shibley's Point and McGrew cemeteries, where he was a board member.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday (December 27, 2015), with family receiving friends from noon to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will follow the service at Green Grove Cemetery, Novinger, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Brad Coursey, Brian Coursey, Kyle Wallace, Rachel Frost, Orville Goodwin, Haylee Wallace, Stephanie Goodwin and Maykel Brogan. Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Compton, Aaron Wallace and Loren Martin.
