Ethel Louise Kidd, 92, of Jonesburg, Missouri, formerly of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday (November 23, 2015) at Jonesburg Nursing Home in Jonesburg, Missouri.

The daughter of Everett and Viola (Vincent) Mathes, she was born February 24, 1923 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Ethel is survived by one daughter, Georgia Powell of Kirksville, MO; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rollie and Roy Mathes and three sisters, Hazel Brown, Blanch Cowan and Edith Page.

Ethel was a graduate from Kirksville High School. She was employed over forty years at Toastmaster/McGraw Edison until retiring.

She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday (November 27, 2015) at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri, with Pastor Charles Jackson officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
