Ty Colton Calloway, 18, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away at his home on Saturday (April 5, 2014).

The son of Stephen William and Sherry Lynn (Abbott) Calloway, he was born January 23, 1996 in Kirksville.

Ty is survived by his parents, Stephen and Sherry Calloway; two brothers, Scottwell Calloway and Alexander Calloway both of Kirksville, MO; grandparents, William and Laureen Calloway of Buffalo, WY, Maureen Slane of Jacksonville, FL, Margaret and Sonny Abbott of Dayton, NV and Sue and Clint Degn of Granada Hills, CA; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ty was a Senior at Kirksville R-III High School where he was active in Drama Club and was a four year member of the Cross Country team. He enjoyed hiking, climbing and video gaming. Ty was fun loving and enjoyed joking and making people laugh with his quick wit.

Ty’s family and friends meant a lot to him.

Public visitation will be held Tuesday (April 8, 2014) with family receiving friends from six to eight p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday (April 9, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Chaplain Carrol Davenport officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.
