Tettie Ruth (Jadzinski) Maheu, 70, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (March 4, 2014) at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

The daughter of Francis and Tettie (Cumming) Jadzinski, she was born January 18, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan. On June 1, 1963 in Walled Lake, Michigan, Tettie was united in marriage to Glen Thomas Maheu.

Tettie is survived by her husband, Glen of fifty-one years; four sons, Matthew Maheu of Nashville, TN, Robert Maheu of Kirksville, MO, Michael Maheu of Porthuron, MI and Glen Maheu Jr. of Lansing, MI; one daughter, Dawn Williams of Idaho; four brothers, David Jadzinski of Grand Rapids, MI, Dale Jadzinski and Kevin Jadzinski both of Michigan and Frank Jadzinski Jr. of MS; one sister, Kathy Leach of Waterford, MI and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Mark and Chris Maheu and one granddaughter, Kylie Maheu.

Tettie has been cremated and a graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday (March 7, 2014) at the Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri, with Father Chris Cordes officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
