Vicky Lynn (Stratton) Neff, 55, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday (October 29, 2014) at her home.

The daughter of Donald and Beverly (Foust) Stratton she was born October 11, 1959 in Memphis, Tennessee. On November 2, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Vicky was united in marriage to Samuel Lee Neff who preceded her in death on April 27, 2011.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Vicky is survived by two sons, Kiel Karigan of Canyon Lake, TX and Nicholas Karigan of Kirksville, MO; one grandson, Ayden Lee Karigan of Canyon Lake, TX; one brother, Donald Stratton Jr. of Kansas City, MO; and one sister, Kathy Roadcap and husband Bob of Stockton, MO, and by her dearest Alyssa Jade Lewis.

Vicky was a graduate from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia, Missouri, with the Class of 1978. She was employed a number of years as an on the job trainer for Southwestern Bell in St. Joseph, Missouri and last in Kirksville, Missouri.

Vicky enjoyed crafts, traveling, gambling, antiquing, music, fishing, and mushroom hunting. She had a great love of animals and always had a dog to love.

Vicky will be remembered for being a caring Mother who was very active in her children and grandchildren’s activities.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday (November 3, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Sonny Smyser officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday (November 3, 2014) for one hour before the service. Interment will follow the service at Jewel Cemetery, northwest of Kirksville.
