Melissa Dianne (Madden) Carlyle, 42, of Baring, Missouri, passed away Wednesday (October 23, 2013) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Eddie Pete and Patricia (Davis) Madden, she was born July 26, 1971 in Pensacola, Florida. On April 18, 1996 in Brewton, Alabama, Melissa was united in marriage to Roy Dale Carlyle.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Roy; one son, Skylar Thompson of Baring, MO; one daughter, Brandi Carlyle of Baring, MO; one brother, Eddie Madden of Andalusia, AL; one sister, Jennifer Madden of Umatilla, FL, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Melissa graduated from high school in Jay, Florida. She moved to Kirksville to make her home in 2004. In 2007, she moved to Baring, Missouri, where she resided at the time of her death. Melissa was manager of Auto Zone in Kirksville.

She loved riding her motorcycles, camping, fishing and crocheting.

Melissa was a member of (FORR) Freedom of Road Riders.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday (October 26, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Family will receive friends one hour before the service.

Interment will follow the service at Bozarth Cemetery in rural Novinger, MO.
