Anna Bell Miller, 75, of Macon, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday (August 7, 2012) at Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
The daughter of James Walter and Opal Pearl (Allen) Agee, she was born November 9, 2012 in Elmer, Missouri. On September 28, 1962 in Kirksville, Missouri, Anna was united in marriage to Cletus Lavern Miller who preceded her in death on January 29, 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Richard Agee.
Anna is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Trent and Dawn Miller of Edgerton, MO and Wade and Nina Miller of St. Charles, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Donna Agee of Neodesha, KS; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sheryl and Jerry Skinner and Patricia and Vern Carter all of O’Fallon, MO; nine grandchildren, Aaron, Luke, Amanda, Nicholas, Cassy, Nikki, Kerstin, Ryan and Craig, as well as nine great-grandchildren, Darren, Van, Makayla, Caleigh, Aven, Tyler, Makenzie, Kaycee and Dillian.
Anna graduated from Kirksville High School and attended two years at Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. She lived on a farm near Green Castle, Missouri most of her life and made a career in nursing, working first at Laughlin Hospital and last a number of years for Grim-Smtih Hospital. Anna’s hobbies included painting and collecting glass chickens.
Funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday (August 11, 2012) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Mark DeShon presiding.
Family will receive friends one hour before the service on Saturday in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.
Anna will be cremated following her service and will be interred at a later date in the Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle.
