Martha Belle (Clifton) Crow, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday (December 9, 2012) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of Charles Isaac and Roxy (Story) Clifton, she was born November 26, 1923 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Martha is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann Lara; two brothers, Robert Clifton of Rockford, IL and Frank Clifton of Bettendorf, IA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Gertrude Jackson, Elizabeth Watkins, Thelma Baker and Susie Vanbibber and five brothers, Charles Clifton, Willard Clifton, Luther Clifton, George Clifton and one in infancy.

Martha was a lifelong resident of Adair County. Throughout the years she cleaned homes and was an adult care giver of many. She also enjoyed attending many auctions in the area.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (December 12, 2012) at Novinger Cemetery in Novinger, Missouri.

Family will receive friends Wednesday (December 12, 2012) one hour before the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.
