Laura Faye Danner, 54, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday (September 19, 2011) at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of James Franklin and Delma Louise (Wellman) Danner, she was born May 11, 1957 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Laura is survived by her mother, Delma Danner of Kirksville, MO; three brothers, Jim Danner and wife Nancy of Freeman, MO, Garry Danner of Kirksville, MO and Bill Danner of Edgerton, KS; two sisters, Mary Cassady of Novinger, MO and Delma Larsen of wheat Ridge, CO, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, in 1983; one brother, Ronald Wayne Danner and one sister, Joyce Sauer.

In 1976, Laura moved to the Kirksville area and was employed for Sheltered Work Shop and later for High Hope.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday (September 22, 2011) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Glenn Archer officiating. Music selections “Jesus Loves Me” and “Precious Memories” will be provided by Twila Jones, who will be accompanied by Dianthe Cable, organist. Interment will follow the service at the Novinger Cemetery in Novinger, Missouri.

Family will receive friends one hour before service time on Thursday (September 22, 2011).

Pallbearers will be Jim Danner, Garry Danner, Bill Danner, John Danner, Dwayne Cassady and Brent Sauer.
