Connie Lou Ruggles, 60, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday (August 23, 2011) at her home.

The daughter of Edwin Eugene and Margie Marie (Davis) Salsberry, she was born November 20, 1950 in Novinger, Missouri. In 1965, Connie was united in marriage to Gary Lee Parrish and to this union four children were born.

Connie is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Leroy and Karen Parrish of Greentop, MO, Tim and Cindy Parrish of Novinger, MO and Michael Parrish of Novinger, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jason Applegate of Purdin, MO; five brothers and three sisters-in-law, Vernon and Sharon Salsberry of Novinger, MO, Eddie Salsberry of Kirksville, MO, Bill and Carol Salsberry of Queen City, MO, Bob Salsberry of Novinger, MO and Frankie and Janie Salsberry of Novinger, MO, and two sisters and a son-in-law, Janice “Sis” Frost and friend John of Novinger, MO and Barb and Larry Burke of Baring, MO. She was also survived by her eleven grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Andrew, Levi, Dakota, Ethan, Logan, Cheyenne, Autumn, Kesler and Talon who she loved very much as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Janie and Joyce and her twin sister, Bonnie and two brothers, Buster and Gene.

Connie was a life long resident of Novinger, and received her education in the Novinger public school. She was employed a number of years for Twin Pines Adult Care Center, later for Ortech and American Home Care and last for Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville.

Connie had a passion for fishing and enjoyed dancing. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A public closed casket visitation will be held Thursday (August 25, 2011) from noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. The Reverend Alan Coonfield will officiate the service.

Pallbearers will be Leroy Parrish, Tim Parrish, Michael Parrish, Dakota Parrish, Christopher Parrish and Frankie Salsberry.
