Stella Mae Craig, 75, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Saturday (July 30, 2011) at SOMC Hospice.

The daughter of the late Avery and Minnie (VanHoose) Abbott, she was born November 13, 1935 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Stella is survived by her husband, Melvin C. Craig; two daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria and David Provaznik of Wheelersburg, OH and Carolyn and Andrew Hanser of seattle, WA; one brother, Richard Abbott of Columbia, MO; one sister, Maggie Hardsock of Kirksville, MO; five grandchildren, David, Alex and Katie Provaznik, Parth Patel and Tracie Choate and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Logan Choate.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday (August 5, 2011) at Cheeseman Cemetery in Green Castle, Missouri. No public visitation will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri.
