Jay Leroy Yadon, 46, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday (May 1, 2014) at the University Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

He is survived by his mother, Marty Yadon of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Kelsey Yadon of Kirksville, MO, and one sister, Tena Yadon of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Yadon on June 21, 2009.

Jay was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1985. He spent three years in Clearwater, Florida working as a roofer for a family business (Hogan Construction). The past seven years, Jay was employed at Maritz Research in Kirksville. He enjoyed collecting guns and bottles.

Jay was a wonderful and very devoted father to his daughter Kelsey.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday (May 4, 2014) at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home. Family received friends on Sunday (May 4, 2014) for one hour prior to the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.
