Gerda Erika (Pawlowski) Pfeiffer, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of the late Alfons and Emilie (Frei) Pawlowski, she was born August 7, 1935 in Hamburg, Germany. On December 28, 1973 in Kirksville, Missouri, Gerda was united in marriage to Harold Lloyd Pfeiffer who preceded her in death in 2004. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Heinz Pawlowski, and two sisters, Lottie Klesse and Ursula Koslowski.

Gerda is survived by one step-son, Brad Pfeiffer of Omaha, NE, and one step-daughter, Jill Waite of Omaha, NE.

Gerda resided in Kirksville for many years and sold Avon.

It was Gerda's wish to be cremated and no service be held. She will be interred next to her husband at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.

Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
