William Herbert "Bill" Daniel, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at his home.

Bill was born April 4, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of the late Herbert Aldo and Kathleen June (Pipes) Daniel. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Noma Jean Daniel and step father, Aly Goring.

Bill is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, J.C. and Jean Daniel of Sachse, TX, and Bill and Marla Goring of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Judy Christy of Kirksville, MO; and several nieces and nephews and their families. Rocky, Brian, Ronnie, and Rick Veach also held a special place in his heart.

Bill graduated from Novinger High School with the Class of 1963. He later graduated from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bill worked at Montgomery Ward, Weber Bus Company, and managed motels in Colorado.

Bill was a man of strong Christian faith. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and had coached little league baseball. Bill was a great story teller. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Bill served with Moore Life Ministries in Branson, Missouri for many years as a youth teacher and was on the usher team. He was always active trying to help people especially children.

Bill has been cremated and no service will be held. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date at Daniel Cemetery, west of Kirksville.
