Christopher Dean Rusk, 52, of Brashear, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born October 16, 1969 in Kirksville, Missouri, Chris was the son of Virgil Dean and Elberta Lee (Dobbs) Rusk.

Chris is survived by his parents Virgil and Elberta Rusk of Brashear, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Shawn Ray and Melissa Rusk of Kirksville, MO; two uncles, Gale Rusk of Brashear, MO, and David Rusk of Kirksville, MO; one aunt, Joanna Allen of Kansas City, KS; one niece, Melissa L. Rusk of Milan, MO, as well as several cousins.

Chris was a graduate from Brashear High School and received a Bachelors Degree in English from Truman State University. He was a restaurant manager for Irenes Restaurant in New Orleans for a number of years.

Chris has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
