Dan McConnell, 54 of Kirksville, Missouri passed away unexpectedly, in his home on November 17, 2018.

Dan was born on January 9, 1964 in Dixon Illinois, to John and Eileen Daniels McConnell, who survive. He is also survived by one sister, Suzi Sizemore and husband Jerry, of Kirksville; one brother Marc and wife Jois McConnell of Kirksville; four nephews, Jeremy Sizemore of Springfield, MO, Ethon, Erin, and Eriq McConnell of Kirksville, two nieces Eyanna and Erabella McConnell of Kirksville; four great nieces and nephews, and his former wife and bestfriend Paula Mackey of University City, Missouri.

Dan graduated from Kirksville High School in 1982. He attended school at Bailey Technical School in St. Louis, MO and Vatterott in Quincy, Illinois. Dan worked in St. Louis for several years, then returned to Kirksville and was employed at Standard Register, Home Depot and was working at Hy-Vee at the time of his death.

Dan was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, enjoyed fishing, loved rock music and had 2 very special cats Coral & Reef. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend who will be dearly missed. It was his wish to be cremated.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Jacob's Vineyard & Winery, 26078 Eagle Lane in Kirksville from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to his father, John McConnell and may be sent to Travis Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
