Gary, 71, passed away in his home in Molt, Montana on August 29th, 2023.
Gary was born on July 17, 1952, in Kirksville, Missouri to Ray and Verna (Almond) Easley. He was a graduate of Atlanta High School and served his country in the Army National Guard for six years. Gary was a heavy-haul truck driver for many years. He also did road construction in the Billings, Montana area later in life. “Buckskin” it was full days run.
Gary belonged to the 40th Chapter of the Montana International Harvester Collectors and loved to bring red, antique tractors back to life.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Verna Easley; sisters, Jean Tipton and Doris Camele Taylor; and nephew, Mark Campbell.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Heather and husband Christopher Yocom of Monte Vista, CO, granddaughter, Autumn Yocom and grandson, Josiah Yocom; two sisters, Sue Wynne of Clarence, MO and Jan Miller of Macon, MO; a brother, Tom, and wife Carla Easley of Elmer MO. Gary is also survived by one niece, Stephanie Huntsman; and nephews, Marvin Campbell, Bill Campbell, Jeff Campbell, and Brian Easley. In addition, Gary is survived by his first wife, Joyce Noyes, of Macon, MO. They were married for eleven years and had one daughter together. He is also survived by his former wife, Angela Easley of LaPlata, MO. They were married for 24 years and spent more than 30 years together in Missouri, Iowa, and Montana. He was a stepfather to Jammie Tipton and Joseph White and grandpa to Teresa Ralston and Tyler Hagar.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 4, 2023, at Young’s Lodge on The Chariton, near Callao, MO, at 11am. Wear your blue jeans and favorite red shirt! Potluck style lunch to follow. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Family and Friends are welcome!
