Margaret Rae (Patton) Sifrit, 90, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

Born July 30, 1933 in Gibbs, Missouri, Margaret was the daughter of the late Carl and Patricia (Rogers) Patton.

Margaret is survived by her son Michael Sifrit and fiancée Crystal of Camdenton, MO; one daughter Mary Sifrit and husband Tony Barnes of Gibbs, MO; and six grandchildren, Jeremy Barnes, Matt, Braxton, and Jacob Sifrit, and Emersen and Greyson Siddens.

Margaret was a graduate from Brashear High School and received her LPN degree at Sisters of Charity Nursing School in Colorado Springs. In the mid to late 70's she worked along side of Dr. Earl Laughlin assisting in surgeries. She then began employment at Twin Pines Adult Care Center before going to work for the Adair County Health Department. Margaret was last employed at the LaPlata Nursing Home a number of years until her retirement.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Gibbs Union Cemetery in Gibbs, Missouri, with Pastor Raymond Magruder officiating. No public visitation will be held.
