Christopher Scott Parsons, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The son of Lyndon and Betty (McClaran) Parsons, Christopher was born February 18, 1952 in Bowling Green, OH. On March 9, 1973 Christopher was united in marriage to Susan Moots.

Chris is survived by his wife Susan of forty-five years; three daughters, Christy Rowe of Lancaster, MO, Amy Wilson of Centerville, IA, and Carrie Parsons of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Tom Parsons of Ottumwa, IA; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Scotty and one brother, Alan Parsons.

It was Christopher's wish to be cremated and a memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Central Church of Christ in Kirksville, where he was a member.
