Nadine (Scott) Simpson, 93 of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing home in Marceline, MO.

The daughter of Franklin M. and Dollie M. (Warrington) Scott, she was born July 19, 1925 in Sullivan County, Missouri. On September 2, 1945 in Pollock, Missouri, Nadine was united in marriage to Leland E. Simpson who preceded her in death on April 10, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Glen Edward and Joseph Earl, one granddaughter, Terri Jo, two brothers and six sisters.

Nadine is survived by one son Terry Simpson and special friend Rebecca Minear of Kirksville, MO, one sister, Deva Jones of Brookfield, MO, granddaughters, Tammy Simpson and special friend Bradley Parsons of St. Joseph, MO, and Lori Wilson of Belton, MO, grandsons, James Simpson of Gardner, KS, Scott Simpson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Shawn Simpson (Hilarie) of Edmond, OK, four great-grandsons, Justin Simpson (Brittany) of Cameron, MO, Conner Simpson of Virginia Beach, VA, Anderson and Spencer Simpson of Edmond, OK, one great-granddaughter, Megan Dehm of Belton, MO, three great-great-grandchildren, Jordan, Kimber, and Alex Simpson of Cameron, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Nadine lived her life in Kirksville and retired from ConAgra in Macon, Missouri in 1992.

She was a loving Mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them.

Nadine had a love for pictures and never went anywhere without her camera. She never failed to journal everything in her life. She will be missed but her beautiful memory will live on through her family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 4, 2019 from noon to service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Scott, Kenny Almond, Bobby Howery, Terry Hicks, and Mike Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be James Simpson, Scott Simpson, Shawn Simpson, and Justin Simpson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O.
