Dovie Sueann Stewart, 57, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the University Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.

Born May 11, 1962 in Kirksville, Missouri, Dovie was the daughter of Clarence and Clara Mae (Sizemore) Stewart. She was preceded in death by her father, and two sisters, Tina Darling and Tonya Downing.

Dovie is survived by her mother, Clara (Richard) Lewis of Kirksville, MO; one son, Sid Stewart of Kirksville, MO; one daughter Mindy (Corey) Shelton of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Mike Stewart of TX, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Dovie was a graduate from Novinger High School. She was employed a number of years for Northeast Regional Medical Center as a switchboard operator and last in medical records.

Dovie has been cremated and no service will be held at this time. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
