Mary Marcia "Marcy" (Schwartz) Overstreet, 66, of Macon, Missouri, went to be with Jesus Tuesday, July 3, 2018.

Marcy was born June 18, 1952 the daughter of the late George and Mary (Banta) Schwartz. On December 5, 1974 in Kirksville, Missouri, Marcy was united in marriage to Larry L. Overstreet.

Marcy is survived by her very devoted and blessed husband, Larry of forty-three years; five brothers and one sister: David and Pat Schwartz of Plano, IL, John and Carolyn Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, Mike and Randy (Smith) Schwartz of St. Louis, MO, Raymond Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, Tony and Penny Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, and Teresa (Schwartz) & Jeff Johanning of Herculaneum, MO. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Vickie Schwartz of Kirksville, MO, Terry and Janet Robinson of Harrisonville, MO, and Bobby and Jean Overstreet of Kirksville, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Marcy was preceded in death by her parents George R. and Mary Jo Schwartz; her brother Dennis Schwartz and her sister-in-law, Janet Schwartz.

Marcy graduated from Kirksville High School and completed two years of study at Northeast Missouri State College. Marcy worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory for almost eighteen years and later became Office Manager for NEMO Beer where she was employed seventeen years.

Marcy loved spending time with family and friends. She loved reading, playing games, working puzzles and had a large angel collection.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Jeff Arp officiating. Family will receive friends on Saturday for one hour before service time. Interment will follow the service at Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Jonathon Johanning, Christopher Schwartz, Mathew Jennings, Erik Schwartz, Jason Schwartz, Zachery Schwartz, and Jacob Schwartz.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Marcy Overstreet may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or to the Dialysis Clinic Inc. and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
