MAJ Mark Alan Stokes, 37, of Enterprise Alabama passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Panama City Beach, Florida.

The son of Jacqueline Hope Stokes, Mark was born December 31, 1980 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Mark is survived by his mother Jackie Stokes of Columbia, MO; his daughter Audrey Stokes of Enterprise, AL; one sister, Amanda Stokes of Kirksville, MO, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mark was a graduate from Kirksville High School and attended four years of college at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Since the age of 18, Mark served his country in the United States Army and at the time of his death was an Apache pilot.

Mark loved bull riding, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He was a member of freedom of the Road Riders, life member of the NRA, and member of FFA while in high school.

Public visitation will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Ralph Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow the service at Cheesman Cemetery in Green Castle, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Kendall Christman, Matt Ledford, Billy Sutton, Clifton Bodfield, Kirk Lawson, and Rick Combs.
