Larry Eugene Barnett, 77, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 at his home.

Born February 14, 1940 in Kirksville, Missouri, Larry was the son of the late Thomas Eugene Barnett and Ruby Mae (Sholl) Mullins. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Barnett and one son, Bradley Barnett.

Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Barnett of the home; two sons, Larry Thomas Barnett and (David Wolverton) both of Flint, MI, and James Leonard St. James and fiancée Ashley Ann Edmondson of Kirksville, MO, two grandchildren, Quade Simmons and Daegan Simmons, as well as numerous cousins.

Larry retired in 1995 after thirty years of employment with General Motors. He also enjoyed remodeling homes.

Public visitation will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Yarrow Cemetery in Yarrow.
