Eldon Dale Sharp, 82, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away Tuesday (June 28, 2016) at Hannibal Regional Hospital.

The son of the late Lowell and Eva Ruth (Johnson) Sharp, he was born November 26, 1933 in Kirksville, Missouri. On June 22, 1952 in Novinger, Missouri, Eldon was united in marriage to Joyce Cunningham who preceded him in death on January 30, 2013. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bernice Sharp and one great-grandchild, Brayden Maize.

Eldon is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Mary Sharp of Omaha, NE, and Terry and Theresa Sharp of Novinger, MO; one sister-in-law, Rose Marie Sharp of Kirksville, MO; eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Eldon graduated from Novinger High School. He was employed a number of years for Wright Auto Supply in Kirksville, MO, before moving to Hannibal, Missouri, where he had resided the past forty years.

Eldon enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles and mowing yards, but most of all loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday (July 1, 2016) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Jeff Dodson presiding. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Friday, (July 1, 2016) for one hour before the service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home chapel.

Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Sharp, Jared Sharp, Brian Wilson, Greg Sharp, Theresa Sharp, and Terry Sharp.
