Clinton James Harris, 23, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday (July 3, 2014) at his home.

The son of Lonnie Dale and Sherri Lynn (Pipes) Harris, he was born July 7, 1990 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Clinton is survived by his father, Lonnie Harris and special friend, Tammy Hodges both of Kirksville, MO; his mother and step father, Sherri and Robert McBee of Kirksville, MO; his special friend, Destiny Ferdig and her two daughters, Zannie Woods and Stormy Walker all of Greentop, MO; his grandparents, Elmer and Barbara Pipes of Kirksville, MO, J.W. and Judy Harris of Kirksville, MO and Leticia McBee of Queen City, MO; one sister Amanda Harris and special friend, Andrew Shultz of Edina, MO; one niece, Stella Shultz of Edina, MO; five step sisters, Kelli Oldham Smithville, MO, Stacy Ward of Kirksville, MO, Danielle Edwards of Hopewell, North Carolina, Toni Williams of LaPlata, MO and Tiffany Hodges of LaPlata, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Clinton received his education thru his Junior year at Novinger R-I High School and graduated with the Class of 2009 at Schuyler County R-I High School. Starting at the age of sixteen, Clinton worked for Novinger Farms and at the time of his death was employed for Oros & Busch.

Clinton loved farming and raising cattle, fishing, horseback riding and hunting. He will be remembered for being the Class Clown and was always the life of the party with a cold Coors Light in his hand.

Clinton will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday (July 6, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Larry Gibson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jewell Cemetery, north of Kirksville, MO.

Family will receive friends on Sunday (July 6, 2014) from noon to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Troy Western, Zack Western, Brian Western, Ryan McBee, Travis McClanahan and Drew Fountain. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Brown, Matt Findling, Kevin Pipes, Andrew Shultz, Rusty Harris, Laddy Harris, Bobby Harris and Mark Story.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Clinton Harris may be made to the Jewell Cemetery. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
