Rosalie Mae (Christman) Schreiner, 66, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday (May 8, 2014) at Landmark Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The daughter of Harold Ray and Ada Mae (Ditmars) Christman, she was born January 3, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Rosalie is survived by her father, Harold Christman of Kirksville, MO; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Staci Walters of Ashland, MO and Rob and Shelley Spain of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Janie Potter of Green City, MO; eight grandchildren, Morgan and Mason Walters, Desiree’ and Dustin Partin, Zoey and Zaden Spain, Georgia Forcee and Zach Aldridge; two great-grandchildren, Amara Connelly and Emma Aldridge, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother; one son, Ray Aldridge; one daughter, Dalene Spain; one brother, Eugene Christman and one sister, Loree Loevland.

Rosalie received her education in the Greentop and Kirksville Bible schools. She was employed several years at Kirksville Manor Care Center until her health failed.

She loved crocheting, quilting, knitting, sewing and embroidery, especially for her grandchildren.

Rosalie was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She loved spending Christmas with her family and made sure she made or gave something special to each of them.

She was a member of Church of God Holiness in Kirksville and enjoyed her church family.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday (May 12, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor William Hayton officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, from noon to service time in the chapel.

Interment will follow the service at Forest Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville.
