Breanne Jayde Blake, 16, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday (November 26, 2014) at her home.

The daughter of Jason James and Michelle Denise (Smith) Blake, she was born September 30, 1998 in Columbia, Missouri.

Breanne is survived by her father, Jason Blake of Kirksville, MO; her mother and step father, Michelle D. Blake and Billy McVay of Kirksville, MO; grandparents, Michael and Feves Blake of Des Moines, IA, Richard and Rose Hall of Kirksville, MO, Mike and Ladonna Smith of Newton, TX, and Marilyn McVay of Kirksville, MO; great great-grandparents, Betty Jean Burr of Kansas City, MO and Basil and Shirley Graham of Mercer, MO; one brother, Shelton McVay of Kirksville, MO; two sisters, Nicole Lunsford of Huntsville, MO and Jessica Blake of Kirksville, MO, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carol Jean Smith and great grandparents, Flavina and Isidoro Alfaro.

Breanne was a Sophomore at Kirksville High School where she played tennis, soccer and softball with KBSA. She loved shopping and dressing up.

She was a member of FCCLA.

Public visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday (November 30, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday (December 1, 2014) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Coy officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Llewellyn Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Smith, Travis Smith, Steve Smith, Richard Smith, Kasey Smith and Leonard Hanggeler.
