Delores Norma Little, 99, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday (November 24, 2013) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.

She was born December 21, 1913 in Worthington, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey Douglas and Nancy June (Hogg) Morton. On July 15, 1933 in Milan, Missouri, Delores was united in marriage to Orie Ivan Little who preceded her in death on August 23, 1988.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Alta Kirkpatrick and Lizzie Hyatt.

Delores is survived by one sister, Maymie Spencer of Kirksville, MO, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Delores was a life long resident of Kirksville, and was employed forty-three years at Florsheim Shoe Factory until retiring. She loved working in her flower beds, meeting with the McDonald’s group and spending time with her kids.

She was a member of Hamilton Street Baptist Church and life member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (November 26, 2013) at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Charles Jackson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday (November 26, 2013) for one hour before the service in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Jones, Dale Bell, Danny Spencer, Dakota Bell, Tanner McClanahan and Todd Broughard.
